ReFine HDR is a beta test, not a production service. This page explains what we do with your images and your email, what you agree to when you upload, and what you should not expect from a beta. It is written to be read, not skimmed. It is short on purpose.

01 · What the service does

You upload AI-edited HDR images along with the bracketed source exposures they came from. We process them and return one detail-restored JPG for every HDR you submitted, delivered to your email as a zip download link.

02 · Who can use the beta

You must be at least 18 years old. You must own the images you upload or have the right to use and process them. Real estate photographers typically hold these rights in their own work; if you are uploading someone else's files, you are responsible for having their permission.

03 · Your images: what we do and do not do

We process them. Your files are uploaded to our storage and processed on cloud servers in the United States (Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services).

We may review them. During the beta, we may look at uploads and results internally to diagnose failures, measure quality, and improve the tool. That is a core purpose of a beta test. Review is limited to us and happens before deletion.

We delete them. Everything you upload and everything we return is deleted from our systems within seven days of upload. Download links expire on the same schedule. Save your results; we cannot recover them after deletion.

We never train AI on them. Your images are not used to train any AI or machine learning model. Not ours, not anyone's. This applies to your uploads and to the results we return.

We do not share or sell them. Your images are not shared with, shown to, or sold to any third party, except the cloud infrastructure providers that store and process them on our behalf.

By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and internally review your images for the purposes above. That license ends when your files are deleted.

04 · Your email: what we do with it

We use your email address to verify you, to deliver your results, and to send messages about the beta itself (for example, service interruptions or the end of the beta period). We will not sell your email address or add you to unrelated marketing lists. If we later offer early-access pricing to beta testers, we may email you about it once; you can decline and we will not ask again.

05 · Beta limits

The beta is free within usage limits, currently a daily and weekly cap on images per user. We may change these limits, pause new signups, or pause uploads entirely while we manage capacity. We may refuse, throttle, or ban usage that circumvents limits (for example, using multiple email addresses) or that disrupts the service.

06 · What to expect from a beta

This is test software. By using it you accept that:

Always keep your original files. The beta is not a backup service, and results are deleted after seven days.

07 · Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the beta is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which during the beta is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business, lost files, or missed deadlines.

08 · Deletion requests

If you want your uploads and results deleted before the seven-day window ends, email michael@refinehdr.com from the address you used to upload, and we will delete them promptly and confirm.

09 · Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. The current version is always at this page, with the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA.
